Traditional Wooden Mould for Oscypek (Polish Smoked Cheese)

Available in single and double versions, this handcrafted mould is made from natural wood and allows you to create cheeses with the characteristic shape and decorative patterns typical of regional Oscypek.

Each mould is the result of skilled craftsmanship — solid, durable, and unique. The single mould is perfect for making smaller batches of cheese, while the double mould allows you to prepare two Oscypeks at once, saving time and improving efficiency.

Made from natural wood, the mould is completely food-safe and gives your cheese a distinctive, traditional look.

Due to handmade production, individual pieces may slightly vary in dimensions.

Before first use, it is recommended to treat the wood with food-grade oil to protect and extend the mould’s durability.

Single mould:

• -External dimensions: 16 × 6 × 4 cm

• -Approximate cheese size: 8.5 × 4.5 × 2 cm

Double mould:

• -External dimensions: 25 × 6.5 × 4.5 cm

• -Approximate cheese size: 8.5 × 5 × 2 cm

Usage Tips:

• -Before first use, treat the mould with food-grade oil (e.g. linseed or rapeseed oil).

• -After each use, rinse the mould with lukewarm water — avoid detergents and soaking in hot water.

• -Dry thoroughly and store in a well-ventilated place.

• -Occasionally re-oil the mould to help preserve the wood’s natural properties.
